What is Cooperative education on food and agriculture

This project plans to improve educational methodology of
the Faculty of Agriculture in Kobe University through the establishment
of cooperative education on food and agriculture. Cooperative education
on food and agriculture is an organized educational strategy that integrates
classroom instructions and farming and village work experiences, such as
food processing and agricultural productions, for practical solutions in
the field of food and agriculture.
To resolve the crisis of food production, development and utilization of biological resources, conservation of land and environment, it is an urgent need to foster human resources that can precisely grab the changing situations in the field, discover the problems of the producers and citizens, connect the problems with the technology and expertise from the classroom education, and come up with practical solutions.
This project focuses on the improvement of educational quality, aiming to foster human resources who can contribute to practical problem-solving in the field of food and agriculture, while systematically establishing the cooperative education on food and agriculture through the enhancement of communication and collaboration between the University and stakeholders.
